The story so far ...
Seems that the essay into writing failed...
Trying to follow a few time management principles.
Does help me save some time ..
But I realized what I knew earlier
'Its the human element that matters ..'
All that matters is that you be aware of what you want and what you are doing ..
Don't be a Zombie and probably you will make your way to where you want to be ..

But with the human element comes intuition ..which usually fails me ,when I am under pressure ..

On a personal note the Spartan says exercise is the cure to all illnesses ..
But I am too ill to exercise ;)

That's the last place I had been to ..
My partial observation
1. Lots of chinkis
2. The Yediappas don't know much of English but still want to use it ..
eg : "Baby, I care of you no ,that is why I getting parcel for you to home no .. but I will have to give company to my friends no .."
3. A lot of Mias around ..didn't notice many of them on my last trip ( 10 years back)
4. No SALE signs around ..
This is the one that shocks me ..
Seems the depression or its fear hasn't hit the city yet ...
Wonder why ?

So finally after so long we do have another Indian Olympic gold medalist.
I suppose googling him today might get you atleast 10,000 results ..
Three cheers to India .. and Abhinav Bindra !!!!

Saina might end up with a medal ..
Maybe the boxers get some more glory ..

BTW .. Tendlya is once again out of the Indian team due to an elbow injury ..

GHEUN TAKK!!!!!

The first time I came across the term "Taking the Test" from an old Caesar from 840 BC. ,who albeit his Roman outlook is quite candid about italicizing his English swears ( and even reducing their font size) I kinda felt awkward about it.
Somehow it didn't sound right ... Like the sentences "It was I who did it " and "Whom did she ask out for a date?" I chose to ignore this irregular sounding "TAKE".
I was again corrected for the same phrase/idiom/irregularity/mistake by a lot of people like "The one on the net" , "the speed demon who defeats sound" and "the Bossssss".
Finally when I TOOK the test .. I found that I was taking nothing away ...
Bloody hell ... I would have done bally well to say I say took good scores or the score sheet .. but what do you take in a test ..
I firmly believe you give a test .. Because at the end of each test you know that you have left a bit of you in the test that will be evaluated electronically or otherwise .
Its like saying I took life imprisonment.
So after appearing for this test, all I have to say is "Gheun Takk"

On a lighter note ...
The Olympics begin today ..
888 has 6 circles instead of 5 olympic rings ..
I know where the sixth one ... came from ...
Its India's medal tally ...
India's best hope is a pair divorced and remarried so many times that they resemble a torn shoe :)
So enjoy ...
If India end up adding one more ring to make it 8 i will be on cloud 9 but I know thats not possible ..

And the IITs have done it again ..
They have found new lows :) ( from the so called lower strata of the society )

The elusive lappy was finally caught napping ..
The bugger ate biscuits worth 730 dollars.
I gave the test ...Yes you read it right .. I said I GAVE the test ..
I dont take test ..
I can take / accept gifts ..
But taking a test .. Its like buying tickets for a train you wont travel in ..

It is a movie in which Kamal wants to show all he has ..
His writing skills , his ideas,his ideologies,his acting (over), his singing ..
Maybe it was his effort to do all that he can..
Dont people try to do that when they reach the end ? ...
Maybe he has decide to retire from movies ...
Neways too many tongue in cheek jokes , out of place sleaze and foolish graphics make the movie a bit unbearable ..
Although Oscar changed to Aascar still the director has to show his face at the end of every movie
Life per se is pathetic ..but this friday I am going home ..

There seems to be something absolutely wrong in my planning .
Not a single a timeline met ..
Life's in a mess ...
Btw I finally configured a comp ...but dont know how I am gonna get it ..
Lets see ... banking on some one i know and trust ...
It took me 1 whole year to decide on whether to buy a laptop or not ,...
The story after it was quite straight forward coz I knew what I needed ..
It had to be an HP ...
But on the sadder note it's a Vista ...
But if I really have the guts I might rip off the Vista and put XP ,.. or even one of those Linux GUI versions ..
Thats it for now ..
Unfortunately .. again in office today ...
Some time down the line I will write on the weekend experience ,,
Not like I loooove it or hate it ..

But the paradox f0r me on this day was the birthday of many people including my friend was whether to be or not to be .. Meaning whether to be there or not to be there ..
Also it involved a home - coming so things would have been even more fun ..
But then I decided against being there as the Cosmos would miss me otherwise ..

They say that the tradition of birthdays started in Persia and spread throughout the Roman Empire ..
So no doubt that the able guys from Sparta would have been celebrating June 1st as Julius Caesar's bday ... There was no July before he decided so !!!But how about 1st September ..

Back after two days of vacation .
Relived the days of college when you had to worry about nothing for 12 hours a day ...
Unlimited PJs ..
Still singing : "Judaa ho ke bhi ... Tu mujh me kahin baaki hai ..."
But for sure we did miss Santa Claus ..
I hope we have him as well for the next trip ..

Hmm,
One more friday night in Pune !
Weekend surely in Mumbai ...
And two days of holidays in Matheran

Yep! that's a treat to myself ..
Obviously the operation was painful and the baby may not be perfect but I atleast got something to show for those endless days and horrible nights :D

I know on the other side of the vacation lies a painful week ... but still !!! its vacation time now ....

One hand I feel like kicking myself for not knowing their plans
On the other hand I feel like kicking them for not telling me their plans ..
