A new start .
I tried .
I really promise I tried ..
But to no avail.
Like everybody knows , it takes "DO"ing and not "TRY"ing to succeed.
There is HOPE yet!

Problem Statement

I have 3 rupees in hand.
I can buy 3 lassi pepsis in 3 rupees and be happy about it.
But my b'day is around the corner.
I heard my neighbour talking to his friend about giving me 2 pencils as a gift.
Now I think pencils are a good Idea. But a pencil costs 80 paise. And I am not sure If I want to buy 3 pencils or try for a 4th one. My problem is that if my neighbour actually gifted me 2 pencils I will have 5 pencils , the max that I can stow away in my pencil box. But if he doesnt gift me, then I will just have 3 pencils , when I could have had 4.
Now I think that my dad plans to gift me a pencil box full of pencils .
So I am thinking I should not buy any new pencils at all . 1 box full is good enough.
But my bday is far away and I need a pencil to write ..
So I am confused

You know what Hunters do ..they sit on a High branch of a tree and send a goat to graze , thus inviting the carnivore to prey without letting it know that it is being preyed.
After a few hunts , even the goat starts believing that it has done something great.
That its greatness should be recognized.

Up North

My idea of moving up North was a bit more permanent , but it has culminated in a two month stay in the NCR .
1 week into my trip I just know 2 places :
"The Bristol Gurgaon" and "the Office".
2 things that I noticed
"Too Many Cars" and "Lot of Dust"

Paes managed to win one more Grand Slam .. (Aus open - Mixed Doubles) ..
Dunno where does this guy get his energy from..He has been winning for well over 8 years now ..
Federer as usual did it again ..
But this time he was pumping his fists for the first break of serve in the first set ..
Something seems different ..
Is he getting aggressive/impatient or is it that he is no longer worried about displaying his emotions ..
It seems Process (as opposed to Result) is the key word ...
So should we as Fed fans be worried about these pump fists and these late line calls...
Dunno ...

25 - 1 - 2010

The old year ended on the wrong foot and the new one started on the wrong foot as well ..
Suffering from leg injuries for over 6 weeks ..
I aimed at going -5 ..And I managed to reach +5 ..
BTW the Spartan seems to be upbeat nowadays .. No idea why ..
Just realized that I am no longer following any sport .. Got stumped in questions about Cricket , tennis and football on the same day ..

I am still speculating on moving North in my career ...More updates later

The story so far ...
Seems that the essay into writing failed...
Trying to follow a few time management principles.
Does help me save some time ..
But I realized what I knew earlier
'Its the human element that matters ..'
All that matters is that you be aware of what you want and what you are doing ..
Don't be a Zombie and probably you will make your way to where you want to be ..

But with the human element comes intuition ..which usually fails me ,when I am under pressure ..

On a personal note the Spartan says exercise is the cure to all illnesses ..
But I am too ill to exercise ;)

GHEUN TAKK!!!!!

The first time I came across the term "Taking the Test" from an old Caesar from 840 BC. ,who albeit his Roman outlook is quite candid about italicizing his English swears ( and even reducing their font size) I kinda felt awkward about it.
Somehow it didn't sound right ... Like the sentences "It was I who did it " and "Whom did she ask out for a date?" I chose to ignore this irregular sounding "TAKE".
I was again corrected for the same phrase/idiom/irregularity/mistake by a lot of people like "The one on the net" , "the speed demon who defeats sound" and "the Bossssss".
Finally when I TOOK the test .. I found that I was taking nothing away ...
Bloody hell ... I would have done bally well to say I say took good scores or the score sheet .. but what do you take in a test ..
I firmly believe you give a test .. Because at the end of each test you know that you have left a bit of you in the test that will be evaluated electronically or otherwise .
Its like saying I took life imprisonment.
So after appearing for this test, all I have to say is "Gheun Takk"

Sitting in office

I think I am gonna redefine staying late hours in office .
When you think of late hours you think of red eyes , tired minds , hungry tummys and a can or two of coke (beer if you are lucky ) making the rounds and yes its got to be a crowd .. People sitting to get work done and do the work the managers want done ... The continous keyboard clicks and the non stop chatter on the conference calls ....
All this is because you gotto collaborate.
My solution is to keep it clean and simple .. Define your work plans .. Collaborate in the day time .. thats the most relaxing work that you could do ,,, Then work non stop at night .. .
The server responds faster ... Linkin park sounds better and your eyes do not crave for that one that you might miss ( if you are sitting next to the corridor).

after 200 days of working .....I suddenly have a huge doubt .....what exactly am I supposed to do right ?
I have felt for the past 22 years that a 9 to 6 job is the easiest thing in the world ...All you got to do is to drag your sick ass down to the office at 9 and drag it back home at 6 . Atleast ma dad made it look easy ..You might bring work home sometimes but its a passing phase maybe a week or at max 2. Now when I am on the other side of the fence goin to school seems so damn easy ..You have fixed deadlines and if you don't meet them the max that may go wrong is that you affect your grades...maybe get a punishment..Here you have deadlines which shift faster that the quicksand and all the time you are in this hole full of shit ... Missing a deadline is as big a crime as wearing shoes to the temple..Nobody says a thing until you reach the sanctum sanctorum and then you are kicked out....Same is the case here ....when you are neck deep in quicksand they find you as a stepping stone to the other side ....the scapegoat ...

Maybe it is actually easy to do it but it depends on whether you got it all right in the first place...
You must know where to and where not to open your mouth????
